Privacy Policy
Last updated: 15 October 2026
This policy explains how Neo ("we") handles your information when you use Neo's websites and apps (the "service").
What we collect
- Account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account ID, email address, name and profile picture.
- Your settings, in your own Google Drive. Your settings are saved in your Google Drive, where you can view, change or delete them at any time. Neo can see and change only the files it creates there, and no other file.
- Conversations. Messages and files you send in the service, so we can respond to you.
- Technical information. Logs we need to run and secure the service.
We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not sell your information.
How we use it
We use your information to provide and operate the service, to sign you in, and to keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
Who we share it with
- Service providers that host or process data for us to run the service. This includes AI model providers, which receive the conversation and the context needed to respond. They do not receive your email address, your sign-in details or your API keys.
- People you interact with in the service. What you send in a conversation can be seen by the others in it, including whoever runs an AI assistant you talk to.
- When the law requires it, or to protect people's safety or the service.
Google user data
Neo's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data for advertising, and we do not use it to train AI models.
How long we keep it
We don't keep your data forever. Conversation data is deleted automatically after a period without activity. We keep anything else only as long as we need it to provide the service, and delete it when you ask us to. Your settings stay in your Google Drive until you delete them.
Security
We protect your information with reasonable safeguards, including encryption in transit.
Your choices
- You can remove Neo's access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
- You can email us to see, correct or delete your information.
Children
Neo is not for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
